Top Gift Ideas For Guys

(Image from ChloBo)

Every year, boyfriends and husbands hunt for gifts for their other halves, complaining that the women in their lives are so hard to buy for. Over the years though, I’ve found it to be the men who are more difficult to find a present for. Whenever you try to talk it out of them, they always say they don’t need anything, and the whole process starts to get more and more stressful as we move closer to Christmas. If you’re like me, you’ll be pleased to know that I’ve come up with some fool-proof ideas that should keep you going for the next few years.

  1. Think practically
More often than not, I find that I get the best reactions upon presenting the men in my life with their gift, when it’s something they need, rather than want. Think about what kinds of things they have on in their life right now, and try to be creative with how you can make it easier. Are they always complaining that they can’t find things at work? How about picking them up a cool leather desk tidy? Are they a regular gym goer? How about picking up a new gym back for them and filling it with sports bottles, toiletries and other things that they use every day. Or, if they’re into football, could you choose a great pair of new boots, skin pads or other gear for them?

  1. Suit and tie
If your guy is the kind who works in an office or other professional job, and he’s constantly in need of good quality suits, why not buy him either a gift voucher for his favourite store, or a tailoring package? He’ll be able to get a bespoke suit and shirt made to measure, and what could be a better gift for an aspiring entrepreneur?

  1. Charmed, I’m sure
Guys can love jewellery just as much as women, so how about adding a sparkly treat to their stocking this year? If they like to wear watches, why not pick out a matching ChloBo charm bracelet stack from the ‘ChloBo Man’ range? Or, if they’re always wearing shirts for work, why not take a look around the shops for some statement cufflinks – you can go down the designer route, or the funky, novelty route, depending on what kind of person he is.

  1. Guys need skincare too
This time of year, the weather can take its toll on everyone’s skin, but men usually say they’ll just tough it out, even though they end up with chapped lips and red faces just like the rest of us. Why not pick him up one of the luxury men’s ranges from top skincare professionals, like Champney’s or Liz Earle? They’ll be thanking you for it when their dry, painful skin clears up.
